After School Mandarin Language Program
Young Eagle Mandarin Program is designed for elementary age students. The goals of this program is to:
*Develop Mandarin Chinese vocabulary through project-based learning so that students form the ability to comprehend and speak Mandarin in a fun, interest-focused environment.
*Develop a Mandarin Chinese vocabulary so that students form the ability to comprehend and speak Mandarin in conversation.
*Recognize Chinese Characters
*Foster an understanding and appreciation for Chinese Culture
*Ultimately, achieve proficiency in reading and writing Chinese Characters
Weekly Schedule
Monday: Mandarin Language LearningTuesday: Art taught in Mandarin
Wednesday: Chinese Songs (4-4:30) followed by Mandarin Language Class
Thursday: Chinese Songs (4-4:30) followed by Mandarin Language Class
Friday: Chinese Kung Fu (3:30-4:30) followed by Mandarin Language Class
Students may be dropped off as early as 3:30pm.
